The awards are judged by independent certified security professionals. They honor innovative InfoSec technology and solutions that understand today’s and tomorrow’s threats and help mitigate cyber risk, enabling enterprises get one step ahead of the next breach.

The judges recognized Qosmos ixEngine’s ability to boost Suricata’s threat detection capabilities and raise the effectiveness of network protection.

Qosmos ixEngine® was recognized for its unique ability to boost Suricata’s threat detection capabilities through extended network intelligence. Qosmos ixEngine uses advanced traffic identification technology based on deep packet inspection (DPI) and specially developed techniques to bring full traffic visibility to cybersecurity solutions. Recognizing over 4000 protocols and applications, more than any other commercial DPI engine, it provides granular insight into network activity and highly accurate flow classification. Thanks to newly developed features, it can now be integrated with Suricata to boost system performance, ease alert management and optimize hardware utilization while preserving existing investments and retaining a familiar work environment. It can even detect threats cloaked by evasive techniques such as tunneling, encryption, and spoofing.

Jean-Pierre Coury, Enea SVP, Enterprise Business Unit, and Laura Wilber, Enea Sr. Industry Analyst & ESG Advisor, proudly accepted the award during RSA Conference 2023. “We’re thrilled to receive this prestigious and coveted cybersecurity award,” declared Jean-Pierre Coury at the awards ceremony. “The competition is tough, so we couldn’t be more pleased that the judges, who are leading infosec experts, recognized Qosmos ixEngine’s ability to boost Suricata’s threat detection capabilities and raise the effectiveness of network protection.”
