CyberThreat 2023
Enea’s VP and Head of Government Relations, Rowland Corr, will share expert insights on mobile signaling threats at CyberThreat 2023. Kicking off on the 20th of November, the conference will explore the full spectrum of offensive and defensive security disciplines.
In his presentation, Rowland will discuss the signaling threat landscape, drawing on examples observed by Enea’s threat intelligence team. Specifically, the session will explore novel attack techniques, as well as key areas of vulnerability.
Mobile signaling protocols are vulnerable to exploitation, yet understanding of this threat remains limited among the cyber community. News of signaling exploits being weaponised to influence societies and political processes, as well as to commit theft and fraud, have taken many members of the community by surprise. Threat actors exploit signaling vulnerabilities for a number of purposes, including election interference, covert surveillance, and location tracking.
To discover more about signaling vulnerabilities, and how mobile network operators can mitigate threats and bolster resilience, don’t miss Rowland’s session at CyberThreat 2023.
